The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food met at 9:10 a.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Vice-Chair, Murray Calder, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Rick Borotsik, Garry Breitkreuz, Murray Calder, Mark Eyking, Marcel Gagnon, Larry McCormick, Dick Proctor, Bob Speller, Suzanne Tremblay.
Associate Member present: Kevin Sorenson.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Frédéric Forge and Jean-Denis Fréchette, Research Officers.
Witness(es): From the Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada: Douglas D. Hedley, Assistant Deputy Minister, Farm Financial Programs Branch; Tom Richardson, Acting Assistant Deputy Minister, Strategic Policy Branch. From the Farm Credit Corporation: Jacques Lagacé, National Director, Government and Industry Relations.
