On Tuesday, September 20, 2022 the committee adopted the following motion:

That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study on the impacts on Canadian businesses resulting from the United States Inflation Reduction Act with a focus on sectors most impacted such as critical mineral extraction, auto-sector and electric vehicle auto-sector and clean technology and energy; that the committee hold a minimum of three meetings for this purpose; and that the committee report its findings and recommendations to the House.
