The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $1,000, for the study of the Main Estimates 2024-25, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $39,900, for the study of Canada’s Electricity Grid and Network, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the committee resumed its study of Canada’s clean energy plans in the context of North American energy transformation.

It was agreed, — That members submit their suggested recommendations for the report on the study of Canada’s clean energy plans in the context of North American energy transformation no later than Friday, May 10, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 5:23 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
