Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Thursday, March 9, 2023, the committee resumed its study of the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board.

That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

That the report be entitled: "The Patented Medicine Prices Review Board: Ensuring the Effectiveness of the Reform Process".

That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the committee resumed its study of children's health.

That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

That the report be entitled: "Fostering Healthy Childhoods: A Foundation for Resilient Generations".

That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

That dissenting or supplementary opinions be in Calibri 12-point font, left aligned, single-spaced, and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the clerk of the committee, not later than 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the committee proceed to the study of breast cancer screening following the study on the opioid epidemic and toxic drug crisis in Canada; that the evidence and documents received as part of the women’s health study be also considered in the committee’s study of breast cancer screening; that, for the study on breast cancer screening, witness lists in prioritized order be submitted to the clerk of the committee by 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2024.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee undertake a study on the treatment and prevention of cancer in Canada, including the state of current research on diagnosis and treatment of cancer; that the committee allocate up to six meetings to this study; that the committee report its findings and recommendations to the House; and that, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

It was agreed, — That the committee proceed to the study of the treatment and prevention of cancer following the study on breast cancer screening; that witnesses for the study of the treatment and prevention of cancer be submitted to the clerk of the committee by 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2024.

At 12:11 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
