Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, the committee resumed its study of closed work permits and temporary foreign workers.

The committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $500, for the briefing on recent changes to International Student Policy and plans for future measures, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $500, for the briefing on temporary immigration measures initiated in response to the ongoing conflicts in Sudan and Gaza, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the clerk of the committee make the necessary arrangements for an informal coffee break meeting on Monday, April 8, 2024, with a delegation from Finland.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Friday, October 7, 2022, the committee resumed its study of the government's response to the final report of the Special Committee on Afghanistan.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft letter.
