M-626 Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act

Motion Text
That, in the opinion of the House, the government should undertake a transparent and comprehensive review of the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act, at arm’s length from government, to hear from key stakeholders and experts, including public servants who have disclosed wrongdoings, in order to examine, among other things, the powers to investigate, take disciplinary action and protect public servants who disclose wrongdoings of the Public Sector Integrity Commissioner and the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Tribunal, and to present its findings and recommendations in a report to government.
