M-177 National Roundtable on the Environment and the Economy

That, in the opinion of the House, the government should: (a) support the recommendation of the National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy to introduce a carbon cap-and-trade system that is both verifiable and binding to reduce green-house emissions; (b) restore energy retrofit programs; (c) recommit to investing in green technologies; (d) commit to protecting our air, oceans, waterways, forests and arctic; and (e) adopt a Federal Sustainable Development Strategy.
