M-87 Postal infrastructure

Motion Text
That, in the opinion of the House, the government should commit to reinventing our postal infrastructure to move towards sustainable communities, address climate change and provide new essential services across the country by (i) adding electric vehicle charging stations at post offices, (ii) transitioning the delivery fleet to renewable energy, (iii) retrofitting buildings, (iv) expanding public postal banking services, especially for underserved rural and indigenous communities, (v) implementing check-in services for the elderly and mobility impaired, (vi) implementing broadband expansion, digital access and community hubs.
