M-635 Democratic Republic of the Congo

That the House: (a) condemn with one voice the violence and abuse suffered by hundreds of innocent civilians and the rape and genital mutilation of women and girls in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo; and (b) call on the government to urge the international community to take increased action to stop these repeated human rights violations and to provide assistance to displaced and at-risk populations.
