M-193 Moratorium on the unconfined release of genetically engineered alfalfa

Motion Text
That, in the opinion of the House, the government should institute a moratorium on the unconfined release of genetically engineered (recombinant DNA (rDNA) technology) alfafa until such time as a broad consultation is undertaken among Canadian farmers regarding the potential environmental and economic impacts.
