41st Parliament, 1st Session

Motion Text

That, in the opinion of the House, the government should work in partnership with the provinces, municipalities and non-governmental organisations to coordinate a pan-Canadian strategy to reduce and eliminate poverty, and that the government consider the findings and recommendations contained in the Report of the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities with respect to poverty, as a basis for a national anti-poverty strategy.
