The Standing Committee on Transport met at 10:05 o'clock a.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, for the purpose of electing a Chairperson and two Vice-Chairpersons.

Members of the Committee present: Joe Comuzzi, Joe Fontana, Jim Gouk, Michel Guimond, Charles Hubbard, Jim Jordan, Stan Keyes, Paul Mercier and Anna Terrana.

Acting Members present: Dick Harris for Dave Chatters; Mark Assad for Raymond Lavigne.

The Clerk presided over the election of the Chairman.

On motion of Michel Guimond, it was agreed,--That Stan Keyes do take the Chair as Chairman of this Committee.

On motion of Mark Assad, it was agreed,--That Joe Comuzzi be elected Vice-Chairman (Government).

Dick Harris moved,--That Jim Gouk be elected Vice-Chairman (Opposition).

After debate, the question being put on the motion it was negatived on the following recorded division
