Extract from the Journals of the House of Commons of Tuesday, May 30, 1995:

The following motion, in the name of Mr. Bouchard (Leader of the Opposition), was called and, pursuant to Standing Order 81(4)(a), was deemed adopted:

That, pursuant to Standing Order 81(4)(a), consideration of PRIVY COUNCIL Votes 1, 5, 10 and 35 of the Main Estimates for the fiscal year ending March 31, 1996, by the Standing Committee on Government Operations, be extended beyond May 31, 1995.

Pursuant to Standing Order 45(5)(a), the House proceeded to the taking of the deferred recorded division on the motion of Mr. Dingwall (Minister of Public Works and Government Services), seconded by Mr. MacLaren (Minister for International Trade),--That Bill C-82, An Act to amend the Royal Canadian Mint Act, be now read a second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Government Operations.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to on the following division:

Accordingly, the Bill was read the second time and referred to the Standing Committee on Government Operations.
