- Over 15 reviews were conducted of the RCMP and its culture in the past decade, resulting in 200 plus recommendations for reform, of which few have been implemented;
- To date, there is still no reform to RCMP accountability procedures, and a culture of harassment remains entrenched in the force with the RCMP leaders unwilling to implement systemic change;
- RCMP Management Advisory Board was established in January 2019 to investigate persistent allegations of chronic workplace harassment and related civilian claims; and
- Any recommendations the RCMP Management Advisory Board gives to the RCMP are non-binding and therefore without any legitimacy or power to enact change.
