Petition to the Government of Canada
- Motion M-110, requesting that the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities (HUMA) undertake a study on the impact on parents who have suffered the loss of an infant child, unanimously passed the House with all party support on June 8, 2018;
- The HUMA Committee will study ways to ensure that grieving parents do not suffer any undue financial or emotional hardship as a result of the design of government programming, including from Employment Insurance Parental Benefits.
