Petition to the Government of Canada

WHEREAS:

  • Justin Trudeau and his Liberal government in Ottawa chose to approve the decriminalization of hard drugs in British Columbia, including crack, heroine and cocaine;

  • This radical decriminalization experiment has failed with overdoses continuing to rise and families across British Columbia feeling less safe in their own neighborhoods; and

  • The recent RCMP drug bust in Prince George proves that taxpayer funded drugs are ending up in the hands of criminal gangs.

THEREFORE:

We, the undersigned citizens and permanent residents of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to immediately end their failed and radical drug decriminalization experiment in British Columbia, stop spending taxpayer dollars on dangerous drugs and instead fund treatment and recovery programs to bring our loved ones home drug-free.
