Standing Joint Committee for the Scrutiny of Regulations (REGS)
Mandate
The Standing Joint Committee for the Scrutiny of Regulations reviews and scrutinizes government regulations and other statutory instruments.
Summary of Committee Activity
During the period from April 1 to August 31, 2022, the committee held five meetings and began its study of the review of statutory instruments. On April 4, Blake Richards and the Hon. Senator Yuen Pau Woo were elected Joint Chairs of the committee.
