Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development on February 4, 2016, and the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, the Subcommittee proceeded to a briefing on the human rights situation in Honduras.

Bertha Zuniga Caceres, by teleconference from La Esperanza, Honduras, Gustavo Castro Soto, by videoconference from Mexico City, Mexico, and James Cavallaro made statements and answered questions.

At 2:03 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
