NEWS RELEASE
HOUSE OF COMMONS STANDING COMMITTEE ON INDUSTRY, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLGY TRAVEL TO MONTREAL FOR ITS STUDY ON THE MANUFACTURING SECTOR
Ottawa, June 01, 2016 -
In the context of its study on the Canadian manufacturing sector, the House of Commons Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology will be visiting four organizations in the greater Montréal area:
• Bombardier (Mirabel site)
• District 3 (Concordia University)
• CAE (Saint-Laurent Borough)
• MDA Corporation (Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue)
In addition to hearing witnesses in Ottawa, it is important for members of the Committee to visit organizations in order to have a better comprehension of the functioning of modern businesses and to have an opportunity to communicate directly with stakeholders on production sites.
