M-591 — March 27, 2015 — Mr. MacAulay (Cardigan) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should ensure a safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation system for Prince Edward Island by: (a) recognizing the integral economic importance of the ferry service between Wood Island, Prince Edward Island, and Caribou, Nova Scotia; and (b) committing to stable, long-term, sustainable, and adequate funding, notably by ensuring that all future contracts (i) are for no less than five years, (ii) maintain or exceed current levels of service. | M-591 — 27 mars 2015 — M. MacAulay (Cardigan) — Que, de l’avis de la Chambre, le gouvernement devrait assurer un système de transport sûr, efficace et soutenable à l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard : a) en reconnaissant l’importance économique essentielle que revêt le service de traversier reliant Wood Island (Île-du-Prince-Édouard) et Caribou (Nouvelle-Écosse); b) en s’engageant à verser un financement stable, à long terme, durable et adéquat, particulièrement en voyant à ce que tous les contrats futurs (i) soient d’une durée minimale de cinq ans, (ii) maintiennent ou surpassent les niveaux de services fournis actuellement. |
