M-573 — September 22, 2010 — Mr. Cotler (Mount Royal) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should, on its own and in concert with its international partners, undertake measures at the United Nations to establish an International Commission of Inquiry to investigate war crimes and crimes against humanity in Burma.
M-574 — September 22, 2010 — Mr. Rajotte (Edmonton—Leduc) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should continue to address the rising financial and human costs of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia in Canada by ensuring, now and in the future, that its programs and policy development related to this issue continue to recognize: (a) the right to dignity and compassion of patients stricken by such conditions; (b) the emotional and psychological toll on family members and friends of patients afflicted by such conditions; (c) the increasing costs imposed on public health systems by the treatment of such conditions; and (d) the role played by such civil organizations as the Alzheimer Society of Canada and Neurological Health Charities Canada in furthering our understanding of the impacts of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

M-513 — May 13, 2010 — Resuming consideration of the motion of Mrs. McLeod (Kamloops—Thompson—Cariboo), seconded by Mrs. Davidson (Sarnia—Lambton), — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should encourage and assist provincial and territorial governments, the medical community and other groups to lessen the burden on Canada's health care system through: (a) an increased adoption of technological developments; (b) a better recognition of the changing roles of health care professionals and the needs of Canadians; and (c) a greater focus on strategies for healthy living and injury prevention.
