| October 6, 2009 — Ms. Davies (Vancouver East) — That it be an instruction to the Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development that it have the power to divide Bill C-311, An Act to ensure Canada assumes its responsibilities in preventing dangerous climate change, into two bills: Bill C-311A, An Act to set targets and timelines to prevent dangerous climate change, and Bill C-311B, An Act to ensure the Government of Canada is held accountable for meeting its responsibilities in preventing dangerous climate change; that Bill C-311A be composed of clause 6 of Bill C-311; that Bill C-311B be composed of all remaining parts of Bill C-311; that the House order the printing of Bills C-311A and C-311B; that the Law Clerk and Parliamentary Counsel be authorized to make such technical changes or corrections as may be necessary to give effect to this motion; and that, if Bill C-311A has not been reported back to the House by the tenth sitting day after October 19, 2009, it shall be deemed to have been reported back without amendment. | 6 octobre 2009 — Mme Davies (Vancouver-Est) — Que le Comité permanent de l'environnement et du développement durable reçoive instruction de scinder le projet de loi C-311, Loi visant à assurer l'acquittement des responsabilités du Canada pour la prévention des changements climatiques dangereux, en deux projets de loi : le projet de loi C-311A, Loi visant à établir des cibles et des échéances à l'égard de la prévention des changements climatiques dangereux, et le projet de loi C-311B, Loi visant à assurer que le gouvernement du Canada rende compte de l'acquittement de ses responsabilités pour la prévention des changements climatiques dangereux; que le projet de loi C-311A soit constitué de l’article 6 du projet de loi C 311; que le projet de loi C-311B soit composé de toutes les autres dispositions du projet de loi C-311; que la Chambre ordonne l’impression des projets de loi C-311A et C-311B; que le Légiste et Conseiller parlementaire soit autorisé à faire toute modification de forme ou correction voulue pour qu’il puisse être donné suite à la présente motion; que s’il n’a pas été fait rapport du projet de loi C-311A à la Chambre le dixième jour de séance suivant le 19 octobre 2009, il soit réputé avoir fait l'objet d'un rapport sans amendement. |
