| Q-3102 — June 5, 2009 — Ms. Chow (Trinity—Spadina) — With respect to the Toronto Port Authority (TPA), will the government: (a) conduct an internal and external audit, as requested in a letter to the Minister of Transport outlined by four directors of the TPA, on the management of the Port Authority by the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) during 2008; (b) disclose the legal advice to the Board of Directors of the TPA, as obtained by the former CEO in 2008; (c) order the minutes of TPA meetings from 2008 be released from abeyance; (d) provide a justification of the $80,000 in hospital and travel expenses in 2007 and part of 2008, incurred by the CEO, while operating a deficit; (e) provide a justification for changing the constitution of the TPA by expanding two extra members onto the Board; and (f) ensure no board member has a conflict of interest, and that all board members act in an ethical manner? | Q-3102 — 5 juin 2009 — Mme Chow (Trinity—Spadina) — En qui concerne l’Administration portuaire de Toronto (APT), le gouvernement va-t-il : a) faire une vérification interne et externe, telle que réclamée par lettre au ministre des Transports par quatre administrateurs de l’APT sur la gestion de l’Administration portuaire par son ex-dirigeant principal en 2008; b) divulguer l’avis juridique du Conseil d’administration obtenu par l’ex-dirigeant principal en 2008; c) réclamer que le compte-rendu des réunions du Conseil en 2008 soit soustrait de la vacance; d) justifier les 80 000 $ de frais d’hospitalisation et de déplacement réclamés par l’ex-dirigeant principal en 2007 et durant une partie de 2008, alors que l’APT était en déficit d’exploitation; e) justifier le changement de constitution de l’APT par l’ajout de deux membres au Conseil; f) s’assurer qu’aucun membre du Conseil ne soit en conflit d’intérêts, et que tous les membres du Conseil agissent de façon éthique? |
