M-239 — October 25, 2006 — Mrs. Gallant (Renfrew—Nipissing—Pembroke) — That, in the opinion of the House, the Minister of Health should use his authority under the Canada Health Act to exempt individuals, who are excluded under the Canada Health Act as a result of their having health insurance covered under other legislated programs, from paying premiums to provincial or territorial health insurance plans.
M-240 — October 25, 2006 — Mr. Martin (Esquimalt—Juan de Fuca) — That, in the opinion of the House, the government should: (a) extend the same rights to mobile home owners on reserve as those accorded to home owners off reserve; (b) assign rent controls based on allowable provincial limits; (c) allow home owners to assign or sublet without rent increases or delay; and (d) ensure that park maintenance procedures follow all applicable health and safety standards without access being compromised.
