CONCLUSION
Because of
the importance of the grain and oilseeds sector and the severity of the crisis
it is facing, the Committee expects to continue its special study in the fall
session in order to determine, in cooperation with producers and other
stakeholders, what role the government might play in restoring sustainable
economic viability in the industry.
