M-88 Long-term health effects of cell phone towers

41st Parliament, 1st Session

Motion Text

That, in the opinion of the House, the government should follow the recommendations from the December 2010 report of the Standing Committee on Health entitled, “An Examination of the Potential Health Impact of Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Radiation,” which calls on the government to provide funding for studies by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research on the long-term health effects of cell phone towers, given the scarcity of data on this topic, especially regarding the effects on children.
