The Chair (Ms. Filomena Tassi (Hamilton West—Ancaster—Dundas, Lib.)):
     We'll call to order this meeting of the Subcommittee on Private Members' Business of the Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs.
    We have two Senate bills before us: Bill S-218 and Bill S-210.
    David, did you want to give any input with respect to these?
The Chair:
    Yes.
Mr. David de Burgh Graham:
     As there are no objections on the report, I'd like to see if we have consent to accept both bills as votable right from the get-go. Is that agreed?
The Chair:
    Is everyone in agreement?
    Some hon. members: Yes.
Mr. David de Burgh Graham:
    Is that agreement?
The Chair:
    Yes.
Mr. David de Burgh Graham:
    Will I move the motion?
The Chair:
    Agreed.
Mr. David de Burgh Graham:
    In that case, I move that the subcommittee present the report listing those items that have been determined should not be designated non-votable and recommending that they be considered by the House.
The Chair:
    All agreed?

    It's that the subcommittee present the report listing those items that it has determined should not be designated non-votable. It's a double negative.
The Chair:
    It's a double negative. Yes. I know it always....
    Some hon. members: Oh, oh!
    The Chair: Okay. Very good.
    The next meeting for everyone to note will be on February 26 at 9:15 a.m. We're going to consider all items added in the next replenishment. The location for that meeting is right here.
    An hon. member: What day of the week is that?
    The Chair: It's a Monday. Is everyone okay?
    Blake, is everything good?
Mr. Blake Richards (Banff—Airdrie, CPC):
    This time works really well because it's right after committee. Irene is the only person who it's a challenge for, but maybe we could get someone who doesn't have a committee right before it to come. This is easy for the rest of us. We're all here anyway.
The Chair:
    Yes. We're going to look into that. The clerk is going to look into that and we'll see if can try and have it the same....
Mr. Blake Richards:
    It works for us, that's for sure.
The Chair:
    Okay. Very good.
