Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, June 5, 2024, the committee commenced consideration of Bill C-61, An Act respecting water, source water, drinking water, wastewater and related infrastructure on First Nation lands.

The witnesses made statements and answered questions.

At 6:05 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 6:09 p.m., the meeting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $97,200, for the study of Bill C-61, An Act respecting water, source water, drinking water, wastewater and related infrastructure on First Nation lands, be adopted and presented to the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets of the Liaison Committee.

It was agreed, — That the committee adopt the work plan.

At 6:20 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
