It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration be granted a travel budget of $82,346.60 to travel to St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Moncton, Cap-Pele and Fredericton, New Brunswick, in the Spring or Summer of 2017, in relation to its study of motion M-39, Immigration to Atlantic Canada.
It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Industry, Science and Technology be granted a travel budget of $49,904.42 to travel to Washington, D.C., United States of America, in the Spring of 2017, in relation to its study of the Canada—United States Cooperation in Innovation and Jobs Creation.
It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security be granted a travel budget of $49,904.42 to travel to Washington, D.C., United States of America, in the Spring of 2017, in relation to its study of Canada’s National Security Framework.
It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans be granted a travel budget of $113,236.80 to travel to Vancouver, Masset, Queen Charlotte, Sandspit and Prince Rupert, British Columbia, and to Inuvik, Paulatuk and Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories, in the Spring of 2017, in relation to its study of the Oceans Act’s Marine Protected Areas.
It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs be granted a travel budget of $46,841.60 to travel to Washington, D.C., United States of America, in the Spring of 2017, in relation to its Comparative Study of Programs and Support Offered to Veterans and their Families in Other Jurisdictions.
It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on International Trade be granted a travel budget of $68,565.91 to travel to the Detroit Metropolitan Area, Michigan, the Chicago Metropolitan Area, Illinois, and to Washington, D.C., United States of America, in the Spring of 2017, in relation to its study on the Priorities of Canadian Stakeholders Having an Interest in Bilateral and Trilateral Trade in North America, Between Canada, United States and Mexico.
It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on International Trade be granted a travel budget of $65,365.91 to travel to Sacramento, the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, California, the Seattle Metropolitan Area, Washington, and to the Denver Metropolitan Area, Colorado, United States of America, in the Spring of 2017, in relation to its study on the Priorities of Canadian Stakeholders Having an Interest in Bilateral and Trilateral Trade in North America, Between Canada, United States and Mexico.
It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food be granted a travel budget of $46,841.60 to travel to Washington, D.C., United States of America, in the Spring of 2017, in relation to its study of Canada—United States Cooperation in Agriculture.
It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development be granted a travel budget of $86,013.76 to travel to Washington, D.C., and to Detroit and Lansing, Michigan, United States of America, in the Spring of 2017, in relation to its study of the United States and Canadian Foreign Policy.
It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Natural Resources be granted a travel budget of $38,587.60 to travel to Sudbury, Ontario, Halifax, Nova Scotia and to Montréal, Quebec, in the Spring of 2017, in relation to its study of Clean Technology in Canada’s Natural Resources Sectors.
It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Natural Resources be granted a travel budget of $60,656.40 to travel to Calgary, Edmonton and Fort McMurray, Alberta, and to Vancouver, British Columbia, in the Spring of 2017, in relation to its study of Clean Technology in Canada’s Natural Resources Sectors.
It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development be granted a travel budget of $49,904.42 to travel to Washington, D.C., United States of America, in the Spring of 2017, in relation to its study of Canada—U.S. Environment Partnerships and Transborder-Related Issues.
It was agreed, — That the request for reimbursement presented by Bill Casey regarding a witness who submitted her expense claim to the Standing Committee on Health after the 60-day deadline be concurred in.
It was agreed, — That the request for reimbursement presented by Deborah Schulte regarding a witness who submitted her expense claim to the Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development after the 60-day deadline be concurred in.
It was agreed, — That the request for reimbursement presented by Anthony Housefather regarding a witness who submitted her expense claim to the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights after the 60-day deadline be concurred in.
At 1:51 p.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
