Andrew Hayes and Jody Thomas made statements and, with Robyn Roy, LGen Paul Wynnyk, LGen Charles Lamarre and Denise Preston, answered questions.
At 10:29 a.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 10:31 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
By unanimous consent, it was agreed, — That in response to an access for information request by the Department of Employment and Social Development and communicated to the Committee on Thursday, December 13, 2018, to which documents related to the Committee's proceedings are not responsive, the Committee instruct the Clerk to authorize disclosure of said documents to the Committee's website under Related Information attached to the appropriate Committee study and inform Employment and Social Development Canada that the documents are now available.
It was agreed, — That the Chair send a letter to Shared Services Canada with regard to the Committee's ninth report entitled "Chapter 4, Information Technology Shared Services, of the Fall 2015 Report of the Auditor General of Canada", presented to the House of Commons on Wednesday, June 1, 2016.
It was agreed, — That the tentative Committee work schedule as prepared by the Clerk and the analysts for January and February be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the Department of National Defence not be required to provide follow-ups to recommendations by April 30, 2019, as requested in the Committee's 56th report entitled "Report 3, Administration of Justice in the Canadian Armed Forces, of the 2018 Spring Reports of the Auditor General of Canada", as pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Department will be providing a government response to the recommendations by April 5, 2019.
