The Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities met in a televised session at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Phil McColeman, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Scott Armstrong, Alexandre Boulerice, Brad Butt, Rodger Cuzner, Joe Daniel, Sadia Groguhé, Colin Mayes, Phil McColeman, Cathy McLeod, Devinder Shory, Jinny Jogindera Sims and Jonathan Tremblay.

Appearing: Hon. Jason Kenney, Minister of Employment and Social Development.

Pursuant to Standing Order 81(5), the Committee commenced consideration of the Supplementary Estimates (B) 2013-2014: Votes 1b and 5b under HUMAN RESOURCES AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT, referred to the Committee on Thursday, November 7, 2013.

The Minister made statements and, with the witnesses, answered questions.

At 4:31 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:35 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The witnesses answered questions.
