It was agreed, — That the Fifth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows be concurred in:
1. That, in relation to its study of Bill C-27, An Act to enhance the financial accountability and transparency of First Nations, the Committee invite representatives of the following organisations to appear; and, that they be grouped together, if possible, on the following one hour panels:
- The Aboriginal Financial Officers Association, the National Centre of First Nations Governance and Patterson Creek Consulting.
- The Canadian Taxpayers Federation, the Peguis Accountability Coalition and the Frontier Centre for Public Policy.
2. That, in relation to its study of Bill C-27, An Act to enhance the financial accountability and transparency of First Nations, the Committee invite the Office of the Privacy Commissioner to appear for one hour, and that the Committee invite the Office of the Auditor General to appear for one hour.
3. That, in relation to its study of Bill C-27, An Act to enhance the financial accountability and transparency of First Nations, the Committee invite representatives of the following First Nations to appear on two one hour panels:
- The Annapolis Valley First Nation
- The Kamloops Indian Band
- The Membertou First Nation
- The Nippissing First Nation
- The Norway House Cree Nation
- The Sawridge First Nation
4. That, in relation to its study of Bill C-27, An Act to enhance the financial accountability and transparency of First Nations, Government Officials be invited to appear.
