The Subcommittee on Neurological Disease of the Standing Committee on Health met in camera at 8:47 a.m. this day, in Room 208, West Block, the Chair, Joy Smith, presiding.

 

Members of the Subcommittee present: Kirsty Duncan, Carol Hughes and Joy Smith.

 

Acting Members present: Nicolas Dufour for Luc Malo.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Karin Phillips, Analyst.

 
The Subcommittee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Subcommittee business.
 

It was agreed, — That on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, the Subcommittee meeting be devoted to amyothrophic lateral sclerosis in relation to its study on neurological diseases.

 

It was agreed, — That on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 and on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, the Subcommittee meetings be devoted to Parkinson's disease in relation to its study on neurological diseases.

 

It was agreed, — That on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 and on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, the Subcommittee meetings be devoted to Alzheimer's disease in relation to its study on neurological diseases.

 

It was agreed, — That on Thursday, December 9, 2010 and on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, the Subcommittee meetings be devoted to autism in relation to its study on neurological diseases.

 

It was agreed, — That on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, the Subcommittee meeting be devoted to multiple sclerosis in relation to its study on neurological diseases.

 

It was agreed, — That on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, the Subcommittee meeting be devoted to the planning of future business.

 

At 9:11 a.m., the Subcommittee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
