| Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, May 26, 2009, the Committee resumed its study of the Atomic Energy Canada Limited facility at Chalk River and the status of the production of medical isotopes. |

Jean-Luc Urbain, Edward Lyons and François Lamoureux made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions. |

Karen Gulenchyn made a statement and answered questions by videoconference from Hamilton, Ontario. |

On motion of Russ Hiebert, it was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 36,000, for the study of the Atomic Energy Canada Limited facility at Chalk River and the status of the production of medical isotopes, be adopted. |
