The Chair presented the Fifth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure which read as follows:
Your Subcommittee met on Monday, March 31, 2008, to consider
Committee business
and agreed to make the following recommendations:
That on April 29, 2008, the Committee hear from the Auditor General on the Main Estimates, the Performance Reports and on Plans and Priorities;
That on May 1, 2008 Mr. Kevin Page, Parliamentary Budget Officer, appears before the Committee;
That on May 6, 2008, the Committee meet informally with the Auditor General prior of the tabling of the Auditors General's Report;
That on May 8, 2008, the Committee meet with the Auditor General to discuss her Report;
That on May 13, 2008, the Committee hold a three hour meeting on the untendered contracts by the Department of Finance;
That on May 15, 2008, the Committee considers draft reports;
That the Committee provide the Chair with the discretion to schedule a meeting on the security of government documents, in light of the discovery of sensitive Department of National Defence documents in a garbage bin; and
That the Committee provide the Chair with the discretion to schedule a meeting on chapters 8, 9, 10 of the Environment Commissioner's March 2008 Report.
