The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food met at 8:34 a.m. this day, in the Canadian Room, Saskatoon Inn Hotel & Conference Centre, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, the Chair, James Bezan, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Alex Atamanenko, James Bezan, Hon. Wayne Easter, Roger Gaudet, Hon. Charles Hubbard, Larry Miller and Paul Steckle.

Acting Members present: Bradley R. Trost for David Anderson.

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Jean-Denis Fréchette, Principal.

Witnesses: Canadian Canola Growers Association: Wayne Bacon, President. Saskatchewan Alfalfa Seed Producers Association: Wayne Goerzen, Executive Director. Western Cervid Rancher's Association: Roger Holland, President. Saskatchewan Pork Development Board: Neil Ketilson, General Manager. Canadian Bison Association: Terry Kremeniuk, Executive Director.
