The Standing Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met at 9:31 a.m. this day, in the Asia Pacific Hall, Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue, Vancouver, British Columbia, the Chair, Tom Wappel, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Raynald Blais, John Cummins, Loyola Hearn, Randy Kamp, Gerald Keddy, Shawn Murphy, Jean-Yves Roy and Tom Wappel.

 

Acting Members present: Nathan Cullen for Peter Stoffer.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study of the 2004 Fraser River sockeye salmon harvest.
 

The witnesses on Panel 7 - Recreational, Tony Nootebos, Frank Kwak, Bill Otway, Chris Gadsden, Gwyn Joiner, Fred Helmer, Phil Eidsvik, Alexander Ritchie and Bill Wimpney, made statements and answered questions.
