Meeting No. 2
Thursday, February 6, 2003
The Special Committee on the Modernization and Improvement of the Procedures of the House of Commons met in camera at 8:14 a.m. this day, in Room 237-C, Centre Block, the Chair, Bob Kilger, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: The Hon. Don Boudria, Michel Gauthier, Monique Guay, Loyola Hearn, Bob Kilger, John Reynolds and Werner Schmidt.
Acting Member present: Libby Davies for Bill Blaikie.
In attendance: From the House of Commons: Diane Diotte, Procedural Clerk. From the Library of Parliament: James Robertson, Analyst.
In accordance with the Order of Reference from the House of Commons dated Thursday, November 28, 2002, the Committee resumed consideration of its study of the modernization and improvement of the procedures of the House of Commons (See Minutes of Proceedings of Thursday, December 5, 2002).
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of its future business.
It was agreed, - That the Committee meet every Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
At 8:56 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
