The Standing Committee on Government Operations and Estimates met in camera at 10:10 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D, Centre Block, the acting Chair, Paul Szabo, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Reg Alcock, Carolyn Bennett, Roy Cullen, Raymonde Folco, Paul Forseth, Robert Lanctôt, Judy Sgro and Paul Szabo.
Acting Members present: Alex Shepherd for Tony Valeri; Derek Lee for Steve Mahoney; Marcel Proulx for Tony Tirabassi.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Jack Stilborn, Analyst.
It was agreed, -- That, at the discretion of the Chair on the advice of the council, the documents received in camera be appended to the 5th report.
It was agreed, -- That the draft report be adopted.
It was agreed, -- That the report be entitled “Matters relating to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner”.
It was agreed, -- That the Chair and researchers be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
It was agreed, -- That the Chair present the report to the House as the 5th report of the Committee.
At 8:10 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
