The Standing Committee on National Defence and Veterans Affairs met at 9:05 a.m. this day, in Room 362, East Block, the Chair, David Pratt, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Claude Bachand, Leon Benoit, Cheryl Gallant, Ivan Grose, Dominic LeBlanc, Joe McGuire, Anita Neville, Lawrence O'Brien, David Pratt.
Acting Member present: Deborah Grey for Rob Anders.
In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Michel Rossignol, Research Officer.
Witness: From the Council for Canadian Security in the 21st Century: Professor Jack Granatstein, Chair.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of its study on Canada-United States Defence Cooperation.
The witness made an opening statement and answered questions.
At 10:55 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
