Members of the Committee present: Larry Bagnell, Paul Crête, Cheryl Gallant, Walt Lastewka, Serge Marcil, Brian Masse, Dan McTeague, Gilbert Normand, James Rajotte, Brent St. Denis, Paddy Torsney and Joseph Volpe. |

Witnesses: Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers' Association: Eda Crossmile, Manager, External Affairs and Public Policy; Mark Nantais, President. |
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee commenced its study of Status of Canada's Automotive Sector. |
Mark Nantais made an opening statement and with the other witness answered questions. |
