Meeting No. 35

Tuesday, April 29, 2003

The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in camera at 9:27 a.m. this day, in Room 705, La Promenade Building, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Jim Abbott, Carole-Marie Allard, Paul Bonwick, Liza Frulla, Christiane Gagnon, Betty Hinton, Wendy Lill, Clifford Lincoln and Alex Shepherd.

Acting Member present: Tony Tirabassi for John Efford.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Sam Banks, Joseph Jackson and Monique Hébert, research officers.  Consultant:  David Black.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to a discussion of future business.

It was agreed, - That, the Chair and the two Vice-Chairs meet to develop a work plan for the review of the Copyright Act.

At 10:27 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
