The Standing Committee on Procedure and House Affairs met in camera at 11:08 a.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Peter Adams, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Peter Adams, Marlene Catterall, Rodger Cuzner, Yvon Godin, Michel Guimond, Joe Jordan, Lynn Myers, Carolyn Parrish, Geoff Regan, Jacques Saada and Benoît Sauvageau.
Acting Member present: Ken Epp for Dale Johnston.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: James Robertson, Principal; Margaret Young, Research Officer.
Pursuant to its mandate under Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii), the Committee resumed consideration of matters related to the inclusion of a code of conduct in the Standing Orders of the House.
The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, - That the Chair be authorized to distribute a preliminary version of the draft report to Members of the House, and that one or more round-table meetings be held to receive Members’ views on the preliminary draft report.
At 12:47 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
