The Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 3:31 p.m. this day, in Room 253-D Centre Block, the Chair, Sue Barnes, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, Roy Cullen, Nick Discepola, Sophia Leung, Shawn Murphy, Pierre Paquette, Tony Valeri, Judy Wasylycia-Leis and Bryon Wilfert.

Acting Members present: Ken Epp for Rick Casson and Gurbax Malhi for Gary Pillitteri.

Pursuant to Standing Order 83(1), the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations.

Panel I: Richard J. Evraire, Francesca Iacurto, Brian Gilbert, Gordon Peeling, Gerry Barr and Robert Hornung made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 4:44 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:46 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Panel II: Barry W. Pickford, Dave Caddey, C. Robin Walker, Peter Helgason and Trueman Tuck made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

At 5:43 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
