The Standing Committee on Environment and Sustainable Development met at 11:12 a.m. this day, in Room 209, West Block, the Chair, The Hon. Charles L. Caccia, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Roy Bailey, Bernard Bigras, The Hon. Charles L. Caccia, Joe Comartin, Gary Lunn, Alan Tonks.
Acting Members present: Ivan Grose for Julian Reed and Clifford Lincoln for Joe Jordan.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Kristen Douglas and Tim Williams, Analysts.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed consideration of a draft report entitled "Beyond Bill C-9: Toward a new vision for Environmental Assessment".
Kristen Douglas and Tim Williams answered questions.
