The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration met at 1:12 p.m. this day, in Winnipeg at the Radisson Suites Hotel Winnipeg Airport in Ballroom ABC, the Chair, Joe Fontana, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Joe Fontana, Lynne Yelich.
Acting Member present: Andrew Telegdi for David Price.
Other Member present: Judy Wasylycia-Leis.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Benjamin Dolin, Researcher.

18).
Panel I – The witnesses made statements and answered questions.
At 2:20 p.m. the sitting was suspended.
At 2:32 p.m. the sitting resumed.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee resumed its study on a National Identity Card (see Minutes of Proceedings, Thursday, February 6, 2003, Meeting No. 17).
John Alexander made a statement and answered questions.
At 3:30 p.m. the Committee adjourned until Thursday, February 13, 2003.
