The Standing Committee on Finance met at the Renaissance Vancouver Hotel at 1:30 p.m., the Chair, Maurizio Bevilacqua, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, Maurizio Bevilacqua, Roy Cullen, Ken Epp, Lorne Nystrom.
Associate Member present: Jim Pankiw.

Witnesses: From the Vancouver Board of Trade: Richard Mahler, Director; Darcy Rezak, Managing Director. From the Fuel Cells Canada: Brian Josling, President; Chris Reid, President, Cellex Limited. From the Canadian Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators: Jennifer Orum, Vice-President, Coordinator, Financial Aid & Awards, University of Victoria. Pursuant to Standing Order 83.1, the Committee continued its study on Pre-Budget Consultations.
Darcy Rezak, Jennifer Orum, Brian Josling, Robert Harrison, Robert Clift, Wayne Nygren made opening statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.
At 3:17 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
