Tuesday, June 1st, 1999

The Sub-Committee on Tax Equity for Canadian Families with Dependent Children of the Standing Committee on Finance met in camera at 3:41 p.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, Nick Discepola, presiding.

Members of the Sub-Committee present: Serge Cardin, Nick Discepola, Paul Forseth, John Herron, Rey Pagtakhan and Paul Szabo.

Acting Member present: Marlene Jennings for George Baker.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Marion Wrobel, Senior Analyst and Julie Cusson, Analyst.

Pursuant to the motion adopted by the Standing Committee on Finance, dated March 17, 1999, the Sub-Committee resumed its study on Tax Fairness for Canadian Families with Dependent Children

The Sub-Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 5:17 p.m., the Sub-Committee suspended.

At 6:09 p.m., the Sub-Committee resumed.

The Sub-Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 5:46 p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
