The Sub-Committee on International Trade, Trade Disputes and Investment met in camera at 3:20 o’clock p.m., this day, in Room 306 West Block, the Chair, Bob Speller, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: William Blaikie, Scott Brison, Sarmite Bulte, Robert Nault, Charlie Penson, Julian Reed, Benoît Sauvageau, Bob Speller
Acting Members present: Carolyn Bennett for Raymonde Folco, Bill Graham for Carolyn Bennett.
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Daniel Shaw, Peter Berg and Gerald Schmitz, Research Officers; Dr. Christopher Maule, Consultant.
Pursuant to its Order of Reference from the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade (See Minutes of October 23, 1997 – Meeting No. 4), the Sub-Committee resumed its study of the Multilateral Agreement on Investment.
The Sub-Committee resumed consideration of its draft report.
At 4:09 o'clock p.m. the sitting was suspended.
At 4:56 o'clock p.m. the sitting resumed.
The Sub-Committee resumed consideration of its draft report.
At 5:59 o’clock p.m., the Sub-Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
