The Standing Committee on Natural Resources and Government Operations met in camera at 3:29 p.m. this day, in Room 371, West Block, the Chair, Brent St. Denis, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Réginald Bélair, Gerry Byrne, David Chatters, Roy Cullen, Pierre de Savoye, John Duncan, Yvon Godin, Carolyn Parrish, Carmen Provenzano, Werner Schmidt and Brent St. Denis.
Acting Members present: Gerald Keddy for Gilles Bernier; Paul Steckle for Ben Serré and Claude Drouin for Tony Ianno.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Jean-Luc Bourdages; Research Officer.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) the Committee resumed consideration of a study of Canadian Forest Management Practices as an International Trade Issue.
The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, -- That the draft report be adopted as the Fifth Report of the Committee and that the Chair present the Report to the House of Commons.
At 15:50 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
